Our Story
Many university science students are unaware of jobs available to them outside of academia and lack important soft skills, such as how to network and seek out external growth opportunities. I was inspired and founded the Emerging Scientists Network, with the support of the Royal Society of Victoria.
Mission Statement
We are dedicated to foster a vibrant scientific community of emerging scientists where exploration and collaboration knows no bounds. Our mission is to promote scientific engagement, encourage networking, and cultivate a culture of lifelong learning. We wish to create a welcoming space whereby like-minded individuals can connect, learn and forge lasting friendships. We value the importance of exposing our emerging scientists to a wide spectrum of future career avenues and potential employers. We aspire to establish a foundation from which our emerging scientists can achieve future success while also helping to effectively bridge essential gaps.
