Platypus Research & Documentary
EnviroDNA

Thanks to the National Geographic Society and The Nature Conservancy, I was able to secure a seed funding grant to further my research and document the amazing scientific work to combat the effects of Melbourne's expanding urbanisation into prime platypus habitats, freshwater ecosystems.

I joined EnviroDNA as a research assistant, responsible with tagging and biologically sampling platypus, testing environmental water quality and analysing eDNA. I also acted as their in field photographer, capturing BTS footage and stills for them, alongside filming and producing the documentary.
